A's in New York, Rickey's HoF Induction, A's in Boston
It's something I can not miss! Here's my itinerary...
Next I will be heading to Cooperstown for Rickey's HoF Induction Sunday morning. I haven't decided if I want to see the HoF the following day or not (I was there last summer) and then wil head to Boston to catch the A's at Fenway (I haven't purchased tickets yet for Boston).
I am writing this for a couple of reasons.
1) It would be great to meet up with some A's fans since I am traveling alone.
2) If anyone wants to share a hotel room in New York or carpool to Cooperstown/Boston, I am also available to split costs.
3) I have one extra ticket to the July 25th game if anyone wants to buy it from me.
Oh, and as a side note, I'll be seeing the A's play in Tampa Bay on July 10th if anyone is there!
My only wish was that the A's were competitive this year <sigh> so I could enjoy the trip a whole lot more!

Cool - I'm going too!
I was going to post something to see if there was any A’s centered gathering etc in Cooperstown and any other tips about the area. So please post info if you have any!
I’m flying into and staying in Albany, all by my lonesome. Not catching any games (although that was the original plan). My friends bailed on me but my wife gave me the green light to go by myself to cheer Rickey into the hall. I’ll be wearing my Rickey jersey on Sunday. Tough call on my Saturday jersey…Reggie, Catfish, or Rollie…which one should I wear?

I'll be in Cooperstown with my parents
I’ll definitely keep an eye out here for any A’s gatherings.
Please keep me updated on the HoF ceremony!
I met 67MARQUEZ at a game last week and he mentioned that he will be there for the Induction only. Trying to find as many people to hang with as possible since I’m traveling alone!
Thanks for posting Terk.
Good way to see how many ANer’s will be out that way. AN Day at Cooperstown? Hmm…
I'm here to talk about the past.
I'll be at the HOF Induction

I'm trying to make Cooperstown from Boston ...
in which case, I’ll keep you posted on the return trip to Boston.
Anyone going to the A’s series in Fenway a week from now?

Very nice!
I met somebody else at the game this weekend whom I think is on the same tour, I know he mentioned the Washington game on Friday, so unless there are two very similar tours… He’s also going ot the Thursday night rain out game as well…
We’ll definatley have to all get together!
Lots of A's fans and AN presence..
I know at least 7 other folks doing either this or another tour, or coming on their own.
An AN banner would be great…maybe Lynnzgal still has the Fanfest banner or we could get in touch with
that designer.
An AN meet up at Cooperstown could be a lot of fun – and we need to make some noise cause you know
Boston fans will be out in force for Jim Rice.
"It’s kind of like wishing one of our current players would turn into the second coming of Rickey." 67Marquez. April 28, 2009
A nice big banner would be sweet.
Get all the AN people together.
