I played my father in fantasy baseball this last week and I was leading 14-3 going into the last day. I checked this morning and be beat me 10-9-1. Add that to the A's loss, and I need to talk about our Minor Leagues.
Sacramento:

Ellis 2B: 1-4, RBI
Buck DH: 1-4, K What roster move do the A's make when he returns from his stint with Rivercats--Barton?
Everidge 1B: 2-4, R, HR, 2 RBI, K .347 Positioning himself nicely for a late season call-up. If nothing else, he should see himself get a shot with some AL team in the next few years. Combined with Midland, he now has 31 Extra base hits.
Simmons: 6 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 3 K No BBs in this start, back to back nice outings.
Midland:

Cardenas 3B: 0-4, R, BB
Carter 1B: 0-3, R, BB, K
Spencer LF: 2-4, R
Donaldson C: 1-4, 2B, 2 RBI
Padron, R DH: 2-4, R, 2 2B Not sure what to make of this guy. It seems like he's been a roster filler whenever the A's need an emergancy catcher or left-handed bat...not sure. This year he's been with Stockton, Midland and Sac. Last year he was with Stockton and Sac. That's a lot of movement.
Fernandez: 5.1 IP, 9 H, 3 ER, BB, 2 K
Benacka went 1.2, with 3 K, and Demel had another scoreless inning of relief. Now has a 0.64 ERA on the season. Keep it up...or down I mean.
Stockton: Final game of 1st half.
Final | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | R | H | E | |

Keough LF: 4-4
Poirier: 4.1 IP, 3 H, ER, 4 BB, 5 K Needs to cut down on the BBs. He now as a K:BB of 28:24
Hopefully with the next three days off for Stockton, Weeks will be returning to action.
Kane County: Cougars take the first-half league title!! Title

Christian 3B: 2-3, R, 2B, HR, RBI, BB Pretty active game. Batting .368 over his last 10 games, and .300 on the month. I'll admit, I know it was just one month, but I was worried about his May performance, this rebound is nice to see
Coleman SS: 0-2, R, 2 BB, 2 K, SB (16)
Desme CF: 0-3, R, BB, 3 K, SB (24)
Hernandez LF: 1-3, R, HR, 4 RBI Big hit of the game.
Haviland (W, 5-3): 6 IP, 3 H, BB, 5 K Was shaky in his previous 3-4 starts. Nice to see this effort out of him.
Vancouver: First win..

House CF: 1-3, BB, K
Crumbliss RF: 1-3, 2 R, 3B, BB, SB (2)
Dixon LF: 2-4, RBI, K, SB Two multi-hit games to start the season.
Leyja 2B: 0-3, BB I'm really interested to follow his contact rate this season as well. Last season he showed a strong plate-discipline with a 31:19 K:BB.
Penalba (W, 1-0): 5 IP, 4 H, 7 K This is his first stint in Vancouver. Last season spent time with the DSL and AZL A's.
Have an awesome Monday people.
