Eveland (W, 4-0): 6 IP, 3 H, 2 R, ER, 3 BB, 5 K Since everyone on the bog league club is performing well, aside from Anderson's on/off outings, Eveland is getting the chance to work out the kinks in his delivery, or whatever is preventing him from hitting the strike zone on a regular basis. With a 3.64 ERA, he is providing nice insurance in case of an injury to the 5 guys in Oakland and positioning himself as nice trade bait.
Midland:
Thursday: L, 0-5
Gilbert CF: 2-4,
Carter 1B: 0-3, BB, SO
Spencer LF: 2-4
Cardenas 3B: 1-4 Second game in a row at 3B, 1-7 in the two games

Benacka: 1.2 IP, H, R, 2K 1.95 ERA

Cardenas 3B: 0-3, BB Third game in a row at third, and 1-10 since the move. Also batted 3rd in the line-up for the Rockhounds, we'll follow this to see if this trend continues. It seems the A's are going the route we've all been wondering, Cardenas at 3B, Weeks at 2B, and Green at SS when he signs.
Carter 1B: 2-4, R, HR, RBI .295 Ohh and this guy continues to hit. Now has 9 HR, leads the league in runs by 9 with 50, second in doubles with 22, 5th in HR, and 3rd in RBI. Ohh and over his last 10 games, has 9 BB and 4 K.
Valdez 2B: 2-4, R, 2B, HR, 2 RBI
Godfrey: 6 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K 3.61 ERA Four solid outings in a row.
Stockton:
Thursday: L, 2-4
Weeks 2B: 3-4, SO Now has a 13 game hit streak.
Vitters 1B: 2-4, 2 R, 2 2B, 2 SO
