We are in Brian Fuentes territory
Of course we may score more and be in who the hell is going to close for us territory
At this pace, we’ll get one in the eighth and one in the ninth.
Crap, that’s still a loss.

Do we get Scot Sheilds
and can we have the one who sucks in Oakland
Walk, walk, walk, single, walk, double, single
alright.
someone who saw the balk – how did he balk? the mlb.com replay shows buck pointing, the run scoring, and scoscia sitting there… not helpful.

I think having Gallagher and Gio up on the mound together
would really mess with the oppositions heads
Green and Gold Lantern Corps
and Gio's wouldn't?
the offence can’t score anyways, so we’d be worrying anyhow.
"The hard... is what makes it great."
Gio looked great
until that one inning…Bad innings happen…Every inning for Eveland is a bad inning…Constant baserunners
no, i agree.
Gio was excellent considering that it was 5 high leverage innings. 5ip, 3er is not bad, and wouldn’t be a bad start.
It’s not a start though when it’s that high leverage.
I’m just saying the offence sucks, and if its 5ip 3 er starting, we still have four innings of pen and there’s a decent chance we’re behind.
"The hard... is what makes it great."
Offense isnt great
but the pitching staff has wasted some of the good offensive games ie two games this weekend 7 runs scored two losses…NICE
also, Outman was pretty good last night

Eveland is just bad
My idea is to have the rotation look like Braden/Cahill/Anderson/Outman/Gallagher now Duke comes back and put Outman in pen…I dont think it would be a bad thing at all
That's hot Matt.

needed to get his TTO percentage up
and you can really only control k’s
"The hard... is what makes it great."
He should be in the rotation along with Gio,
Braden, Anderson, Cahill – Outman while Anderson DLs to solve his blister problem, then choose between Outman and Cahill in two weeks depending on how Cahill’s doing.

high leverage.
completely different game and mindset.
one pitch and you lose.
"The hard... is what makes it great."
ya had to pitch more careful
and he was challenging hitters until that one inning and he started being too cute is what id call it…So i disagree with inbillywetrust cuz outside of one inning gio was challenging hitters
Gonzalez should not have been left in as long as he was
He pitched a few solid innings before being left in for faaaar too long and giving up runs.

The guy who sits near the crowd mics with the really annoying chear needs to die
You know, the guy with the “Daaaaaaa, Da-Da-Da!” or whatever chear you can hear in high leverage situations. It’s the most annoying chear in the world. It reminds me of the hyper-annoying “Can Can Can!” song from Moulin Rouge, skipping so the intro repeats endlessly until murder fills your thoughts.

"I’m Joey Devine, I’m what Joba Chamberlain would be if he was good and nobody had ever heard of him."
What would be on the to-do list
1) Get an out pitch
2) Cut your walks in half to 6 an inning
3) Throw harder than 34 mph
4) Limit hits to 4 an inning
5) Work on your throws to second
6) Call Bob Geren when you get an out in AAA and tell him you are ready to come back.
7) Miss the bus when they call you back up
pretty solid list
I might add miss the bus on the next road trip and just head to stockton to play for them…Just throw strikes to the single A guys..maybe Batting Practice anything to teach him to throw strikes
