This is going to be a quick one--sorry everybody. (that's what she said) Let's see our little boys from last night.
Sacramento: Very long game. They played two as well...well almost.
| Las Vegas
Patterson 2B: 3-6, RBI, 2 BB
Barton 1B: 2-7, 2B, RBI, SO
Pennington SS: 2-6, 2B, BB, SB (17) That's some good speed he's showing.
Gonzalez: 7 IP, 2 H, 3 BB, 6K Very nice outing.
H-Rod: 1 IP, 2 H, ER, 2 K Gave up a few hits. I wonder if he is throwing much of hit breaking ball or sticking with the heater.
Hampson, the lefty we just picked up also went 2.2 IP, with 2 Ks
| NW Arkansas

Carter DH: 2-4, 2B, BB, SO
Cardenas 2B: 1-4, 2 RBI
Donaldson C: 3-5, R, 2 2B, 2 RBI
Fernandez: 6 IP, 9 H, 2 ER, 2BB, 6K

Carter 1B: 3-4, RBI
Vitters 3B: 1-3, BB
Hornbeck (L, 1-1) 4 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 6K 3.60 ERA
| Kane County
Coleman SS: 0-2, BB
Desme CF: 0-4, 4 K
Barfield RF: 4-4, R, 2B, RBI Batting .400 over his last 10 games.
Hunter: Yikes! 1 IP, 2 H, 8 R, 6 ER, 6 BB, 0 K 8.10 ERA
Have a great day everyone. Barton is slowly coming out of his early slumps, Weeks has decided to just hit home runs for the rest of the year and Hunter can't find the strike zone. I'm really encouraged by barfield right now. His K rate is at about 25%, which isn't too bad considering his age and the power will come--at least I think. Ohh and Gio needs to put 4-5 of these type of starts together to force the issue in Oakland.
