This type of situation

is one where I have a fair amount of sympathy for Geren.

His first bullpen option is Cameron, and we’ve never seen him. His best two relievers are unavailable.

Outman seems a lot more hittable now, but it’s tempting to keep going a little bit longer, batter by batter.

I don’t think it’s an easy call.
