OK, here's another plan to turn the A's around
It improves our team while generating revenue. Instead of broadcasting games, the A’s broadcast a show called, “Athletics Idol”. At the end of every week, the player with the lowest batting average or highest ERA gets DFA’d unless he’s saved by fan voting.

I love how Travis Buck hits a homer on memorial day

I keep saying it but by putting Crosby, Hannahan, Davis and pitchers like EGone and Eveland for way too long before he was sent down and added to that the fact that we have a complete idiot running the team, sends the fans a message that they either don’t give a flying fuck or they have no clue what they are doing. Seeing that this has gone on for way too long, I have to assume that it is a combination of both.
10 games under .500, 10 games out of first...
Time to blow up this team. Trade the stars but more importantly, get rid of the deadwood like Crosby, Hannahan, Davis, and please please fire the manager.

What scares me is
Eveland might come back up
Gio – might come back up for a total of 6 hours before being sent down to AAA again
Raji Davis – might be named our new cleanup hitter
Bob Geren – signs new 10 year extension
I will bet money they bring that Loseland back up
And you know what, I hope he gets fucking shelled and demoralized because that’s the only way we get a better team.
For the betterment of the team players like this need to fail and fail and fail
Extending Geren's contract this offseason was a major mistake by Beane
I sincerely doubt that if he was allowed to manage through this season, that he would move on elsewhere. This is Bob Geren here. Not Joe Torre. Instead, you write off his last two seasons of poor performance due to injuries, blah, blah and you reward him with an extension.
