Anyone know how Chris Young has done against Chris Young?

A's will face Dan Haren tomorrow
guess today is their best chance to win
In the battle of the strong, victory goes to the brave.
At least he's not lefthanded
"And Julio Franco is batting right-handed!" -- Wayne Hagin, A's radio play-by-play, mid-80s
I would say it's possible to get to Haren
but then I look and see Edgar Gonzalez pitching and come to the realization that we better win tonight
I looked at Chris Young's picture on Gameday
and thought, “Uh oh, due for a home run..”

Granted, a bad mistake by Kennedy,
but at least he was decisive. I’ll take that any day over Rajai’s “to third no back to second no third wait I’ll just hang out here halfway!!!” If the ball drops, Kennedy’s at third easy. The mistake was thinking the ball had a good chance to drop when in fact it wasn’t all that close.

Of course, one of the problems mentioned with Cahill is a lack of consistency in terms of his release point. So there’s that…

Cahill has a few different arm slots. No wonder he doesn’t know where the pitch is going.

Chavez is out
Ellis is out
Duchscherer is out, no one is hitting worth snot, so he’s “had it”. But really, he had little trading power. No one is a rose among the milkweed, no one looks particularly covetable. It’s a yard of dandelions, so no one is too interested. I think by saying, “he’s had it”, that he simply holds no hope of success in 2009, so you won’t see any work done. As in, no trades.

A little consistency would be go a long way for this team….

Not fair.
Nats fans have a highly productive offense, a currently lousy pitching staff widely projected to be very good in a couple of years, and a really great new stadium.

Resounding rebuttal! Well done!
And above all, keep ignoring the point you’re supposedly responding to. You’ll feel good — but I guess you already know that.

Gotta laugh at Aybar
2 pop up bunts and this time with Figgins at 3rd and no outs, he attempts to get the ball into the infield but flails and the bat goes to the infield and Scioscia walks away from railing in disgust. LOL
Pity they have two more chances to score though
thank you trainman
