Oakland grabs Breslow from waiver wire
I was surprised this has not be posted yet. Oakland picked up left-handed Yale grad Craig Breslow of the waiver wire.

Breslow was good last year posting a 1.63 era with Minn.

He got off to a poor start this year, 6.28 era in 14.1 innings, and was placed on the waiver wire. It seems many of the Minn fans are surprised by the move. Mark Ellis was placed on the 60-day DL.

In the blog she points out that “Lefties hit .191 against Breslow over his career.”

Yeah, but I'd rather have a newbie be helpful
by posting something potentially enlightening
than to just sit there and lurk.
Keep tryin’!

I am not saying not to post
…just pointing out that it has already been mentioned, since the poster expressed surprise that it “hadn’t been posted yet.”

What happened to Brad Kilby? Why won’t they ever give him a shot?

I don't like having LOOGYs or ROOGYs
I prefer to have a good reliever instead.
Ricardo Rincon is probably the reason why.

Forst says they have tried to trade for Breslow before
I would think blevins is probably done at the mlb level for now. Also Marshall, Kilby, Benacka, etc might get a shot eventually.
