5/19 Minor Athletics

Some of the descriptions from last night's games appeared in the Minor's Report yesterday...but it never hurts to get the same information twice. Nice win from our boy's yesterday. I can't believe we gave up less than ten runs.

Patterson, CF: 2-4, R, SO

Barton 1B: 1-2, BB, SB .209 was replaced by Baisley at 1B. I don't even want to think about an injury--but it might explain his terrible year so far.

Munson DH: 2-4 .286 Has there been a decision as to who will replace Powell?

Recker appeared in the game at catcher, is Munson coming up?

Cardenas 2B: 0-2

Recap | Box

Desme DH: 2-4, R, 2 RBI, 2 SO .256 I don't know about all of you, but I am really excited to see this guy getting some AB for once. Average isn't great, but is hitting over .300 in his last 10, with 3 HR. He also has 11-11 in steals.

Christian 3B: 1-3, RBI, 2 BB .270

Hunter: 5 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K 5.47 ERA One of his better starts. I like to see the control returning.

Michael Hart came in in relief and now has a 1.17 ERA. Drafted out of Texas State last season, he started a few games last year, but has yet to this season. I don't know if this is a permanent change or not.

What are your thoughts on Desme, and how quickly does H-Rod move up?
