Because you don't know as a 97MPH pitch is coming in

whether it’s exactly on the corner or exactly just off the corner, but you know it’s unhittable. One of the things that makes Cust successful is he’ll walk on that half the time where most guys will get out 95% of the time. Because it was an unhittable pitch.

Even if we’re generous and say there’s a 20% chance Crosby is safe there, the next hitter is better than a .200 hitter, so it’s still more likely that a base hit/wild pitch/error brings the run in.

"get some god damn balls," huh?

It was a stupid play he was fortunate to score on. Glad it got them a win but it doesn’t change the fact he was out by a mile if the throw’s good. Then it would have really stood out as a terrible play by Crosby. It was still a bad one but it worked this time.

There’s showing fire and there’s playing smart. That wasn’t smart.

BoCros is in da house! I’m going to stop giving Bobby so much crap. The guy is on a mission. He’s trying out there and that was a gutsy play. I’m all for him playing instead of Chavez for the rest of the year. At least this guy isn’t a pansy like Chavvy is.

Hahaha! Yeah, you would expect that. The guy’s just on a mission to be healthy so he can be out there on the field. Clearly, that’s the only way he’s going to be playing (but then again, we’re losing players to the DL every day so he’s going to get his playing time)
