Soderbergh on "Moneyball"
How the hell does one make "Moneyball" into a movie? What's the narrative and story arch? Do the subplots get incorporated? How does one look at Billy Beane and think "Brad Pitt?" Most importantly--and equally depressing--what is the feel-good "Hollywood" conclusion?
Those are some of the questions in the back of many A's fans minds. Today, director Steven Soderbergh dropped some hints on what we can expect.
I'm a huge Soderbergh fan, and movies like "Traffic," "Out of Sight," and the Oceans movies are great examples of his ability to tell non-linear, intertwining stories.
I can't wait.
