Open Thread: Game 2 - A's at Angels (cont.)
After an insurance run and two strong innings by Casilla, we go to the ninth with the A's up 6-3.
Do we get Ziggy or do we get more runs? Maybe both? Time to finish the job and make us and the AN contingent down the right field line happy.

The A’s HAVE an offense. Are we shooting for 20 hits tonight? When is the last time the A’s had 20 hits. Someone research this.

Overall, I'm quite fond of Cahill....he couldn't throw a strike to save his life
but I’ll chalk this one up to nerves. We’ll see how he continues.

yeah I wasn't expecting much

I think Anderson will dominate the slegnA on Thursday
I may go to the game to make it a certain victory and take it to 10-0 in last 10.
I'm excited about Eveland tomorrow.
I take the games one at a time. And give 110% for each one.

I think you can breathe easy
their hitting will look good against Jeff Suppan, but i suspect their offense wont be much better than last year. Too many ifs. If Sandoval can stay consistent If Rowand can rediscover some power. If Ishikawa can take a hold of the 1B job for good. If Fred Lewis develops the way he should. They have a lot of good average hitters but not much speed or power.
