NRAF Chicago - Tickets Please?
A while ago during the off season I asked if there were any NRAF's in Chicago that wanted to go to the A's vs White Sox series in the first week fo June, June 1st through 4th. We pretty much settled on Monday June 1st, as it is a discount ticket day.
Now its time to pick our tickets, and reaffirm how many people want to go. Does someone want to volunteer to be the one to buy the tickets and distribute them? Where do we want to sit? Where can we all get tickets together? Should we buy them online or at the Box Office (where presumably we would not have to pay the $15 or so dollars in added "convenience" fees).
So come on NRAFs, GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME!

Have you talked to a ticket rep?
Depending on how many people go, maybe you can get a group discount.

not yet, but looking online
best seats we can get as a group look like the second deck nosebleed. But hey, behind the plate.

I wish I could be the one to buy the tix,
but the credit card is pretty stretched thanks to my sky high upcoming wedding costs. The lady and I are still up for going June 1st.

Count me in....I think
Which is to say I’ll actually be in Chicago that night. What’s more, I’ve already bought a ticket to the game. Seeing as how I’ve never been to Chicago, much less Comiskey, I’m looking forward to my trip.
Alas, without doing proper research, I bought a ticket for the upper deck behind the plate. (It is, in general, my favorite place to sit. Especially when it’s my first time in a stadium.) That was two weeks ago. Only a couple of days ago did I learn that Jerry Reinsdorf has seen fit to deprive me access of the main concourse (and thus, the ability to actually get to know Comiskey) if I have an upper deck ticket. Which pisses me off to no end, but what can you do?
God, I talk too much. Anyway, the point is that if you get tickets for anywhere but the second deck, count me in. I’m happy to buy one just so that I can have access to the nooks and crannies of the place. But if the second deck is the best that you can do, well I’ll stick with my original ticket and just meet up with you all come game-time.
Make sense?

I can't make the series
I have to be in Peoria that week, which totally sucks.
Any of you know any decent sports bars in Peoria? Anyone know anything decent at all in Peoria?
