Listening to the broadcast of the A's/Cubs today a conversation with Susan Slusser speculated that Gallagher may be on the outs as far as the starting rotation is concerned. This speculation is prompted by the fact that Gallagher is missing from the schedule of pitchers for the remaining Spring Training games.

Further, they speculated he will either start the season a Rivercat or get moved to the bullpen. This is disappointing, considering Gallagher was one of the guys the team was hoping could rise to the challenge and take advantage of his potential.

This leads to the question of the starting rotation yet again. No Duke, No Gallagher, No Gio. Are we at Braden, Eveland, Anderson, Cahill, Outman?
