Lew Wolff seems like a pretty smart guy. I’m sure he wants to win, and it’s not really his fault that the A’s play in the worst stadium in baseball.
really? the worst stadium in baseball? is the coliseum that bad?
I'm not saying Oakland has the worst stadium.
But the Trop is really not that bad anymore. Of course I’m biased, but eh.

Yes. It's that bad.

Ya I went back there last year for the first time in 17 years. It is easily the worst I've been to
during those 17 years. In fact it’s the worst I’ve ever been to other than Candlestick on a cold night or the Kingdome.
It's not the results, it's how you look going about those results -- Tim McCarver

Come on now, we all know THIS coliseum is MUCH worse
I heard it’s not much of a hitter’s park, either.

"If Bowden was a general contractor, he'd build houses with nine bedrooms, six garages, no bathrooms, and half a roof."
The worst was RFK...
But now the Nats have a new stadium, so yeah, the Coliseum is the worst. Beane admits it himself in Blez’s interview, saying the A’s facilities are “far below everyone else in the league” and that FAs don’t want to come to Oakland specifically because of that.
