It's on Yahoo!, so if the direct link doesn't work, you should be able to find it through the web site. And because I need 75 words here, let me reassure you all. I love you. And I love all of you, not just some or part or a few of you. No. Not even the majority of you. I love you all. Remember, compromise is the essence of diplomacy; and diplomacy is the cornerstone of love.

Are you using the default rules?
Yahoo’s default rules are absolutely horrible. It’s impossible to win without picking the champion, which is basically guesswork, and the first 3 rounds might as well not exist for scoring purposes.
I don’t know if you can change the rules at this point, but if you can I’d implore you to reduce the point values for the rounds to something like 1/2/3/3/4/4 or, at least, 1/2/3/4/5/6. The default 1/2/4/8/16/32 is basically a pointless exercise.

Sweet
I’m in.
Funny thing— since I’m now in law school (and not trying to score fivers from drunken lawyers), all the brackets I’m in this year are at SBN blogs…

Damnit, before you spoke up, winning this thing was as easy as picking Cal
Now it’s all left to chance.

I see nothing...
when I cut and paste the link. Says it will be available Thrusday, 3/19, which is the same day the tourney starts, if I’m not mistaken. Kind of a short window to enter, if you ask me.

Honestly...
I’m taking my other two brackets seriously. This one I’m picking solely on the hotness of the cheerleaders, just to see how that goes.

I've seen Cal play maybe 20 minutes this year
And living in ACC country I’ve seen Maryland play several hours.
I picked Cal to win that game with the same confidence I had picking all the 1 seeds.
>sigh<

you didn't really pick Cal to win against Maryland...
did you? As soon as I heard Cal was playing Maryland on the ESPN bracket show, I told my brother that Cal was going down.

Why would I not have picked Cal?
They’re ridiculously better than Maryland… it was obvious even from watching that game, where Cal was playing like crap and couldn’t make any shots…

Doing pretty well so far
I’m off to a good start with the bracket, which is surprising because I haven’t been following college b-ball at all this year.
I would be doing better if it weren’t for my rediculous fascination with 12 seeds. I don’t know why I continuously pick 12 over 5, it usually doesn’t work out too well for me.

Regional biases at work...
I have the same bracket with AN (which I’m assuming has mostly Californians) and with a group of people at work here in North Carolina.
In the AN group, 7 of 32 are picking North Carolina to win it all.
In the work group, 15 of 29 are picking North Carolina to win it all.
I didn’t pick UNC to win it all, mainly because I really like Pittsburgh’s chances and also for the chance to earn points against all the Carolina fans at work in the Final Four. But what might work there may not work in the AN group. On the other hand, I’m not going to lose cash on the AN group… :)
