AN Home Opener Tailgate
Hi Y'all!
So the A's home opener is just a month away. Pam5981 and I are considering organizing an AN tailgate to celebrate what we hope is an auspicious year for our beloved team.
I know many of our AN family are attending from near and far. It would would be good fun to get together, share some great food and even greater memories, and conjecture endlessly about the A's chances in 2009.
So our question is...are you in?

I'll be there tailgating with saint and our whole crew!
We usually set up in front of the cement blocks on the north side entrance…….in front of the Mcaffee Coliseum sign.

We're there for sure,
and it’s a Friday night so a great opportunity to do it up. mrod, I know where you & Saint usually hang out – how early do you think we need to get there to have enough room for a large group?

I'm pretty sure we will be there as soon as the gates are opened.
Sounds like a great idea, though.

I know that we will need to:
We also have to be sure NOT to park in the regular’s spots. Just set up at the entrance and then figure it out.

If ever a game should have been called on account of wind, that one was it. Good thing Jerry Blevins didn't have to pitch; he's tall, skinny, and I could practically see one of the 40-mph gusts...sweeping him off the bump and pinning him to the left-field fence. --Mychael Urban
