WhatIfSports is a good site. I play the free exhibition season, but it is a challenge to win and dominate. There is a salary cap of $80 million, but be careful about selecting players with enough plate appearances and have enough innnings for your entire staff. The possibilities are seemingly limitless with your roster.

The problem with WhatIf

Is there seem to always be a few “overpowered” players that are way better than they should be for whatever reason. All the people who live on the site use them, along with counter intuitive engine-gimicking strategies. The last time I played, it was to get a specific guy as your long reliever, have cheap starters, and set them to only pitch for 3 innings. For whatever reason the super-sub long guy then became completely unrealistically dominant.
