A's involved in Noel Arguelles bidding?
Kiley McDaniel tweeted earlier today that the A's are an interested bidding party for Noel Arguelles.
In my mind this begs two questions:
1) Are we SERIOUSLY involved in bidding for him and/or Aroldis Chapman?
2) Who is this guy? A quick google search turns up nothing.

I found plenty
Another poorly conditioned but high-potential Cuban lefthander. Can hit 93-94, but was clocked in the high-80s recently. Really kind of a poor man’s Chapman in a lot of ways, which isn’t to say that he’s not a prospect.
I might rather the A’s got in on Yadel Marti if they’re going the Cuba route, who’s a little more experienced with better command and would help to balance out what right now is a gross imbalance between lefthanders and righthanders among A’s pitchers. Chapman and Arguelles would just make that imbalance worse.

Gross Imbalance?
You mean in the minors or something? Anderson and Braden are virtually guaranteed spots in the rotation, and I’d be surprised if Outman doesn’t get consideration once he’s healthy again, plus Gio is probably going to be competing for the 5th spot.
