As an A's fan in Seattle I only get to watch the A's on TV when they play the Mariners, or on national TV once..... It absolutely kills me how the A's have rolled over against the M's. Once again they were terrible, and the M's are not that good. They have all kinds of problems until they play the A's. The M's have a fifty run differential of runs scored to runs allowed, and they should be ten games under 500 instead of a couple to the good. The A's are just lifeless against the M's, and this does not bode well going onward.
Next year....who are the A's going to leap over in the division? The Angels have been superior, and the Rangers finish one place out of the wildcard. The M's have the A's number, have more money to spend, and finally have a competent front office. So who are the A's going to beat.....the M's announcers described the A's as a collection of slap hitters with a couple of good young starters, and a good bull pen. So in a best case situation the A's will flirt with being a 500 team next year?
Once again I am back on the ledge....is there any hope looking ahead, or are the A's the new Royals or Pirates going forward?
