I know that M67 gave Baseballgirl the gift of taking over the front page post today...but now that I think about it, birthday best wishes to Baseballgirl deserve a post of their own. So feel free to add your favorite BBG story, picture or tagline or comment right here.

Happy Birthday, Christy. You are one of my most favorite AN people and I sure wish we could get together more often. But that's what roadtrips are for, right? Hope the celebration goes on and on.

And my life has been so much better for it.

The thing that stuck with me about that day was how sweet bbg was to my mom, listening so attentively to her stories about PCL baseball and the Hollywood Stars (mom grew up in LA). Now that’s class!

The first time I ever read AN was a thread composed by BBG.

I can’t remember the topic, but I was awed by the depth, clarity & passion of the post and the responses. I had a meeting one night at work and I was browsing during some down time. From that moment on, I was hooked. Happy birthday, girl. You sure reeled me in.
