Pacific Northwest A's Fans...are there any??
Die hard A's fan residing in Vancouver, WA here. I really enjoy attending Portland Beaver (Padres Affiliate)games. If there any Oakland fans that might be interested in attending River Cats games in Portland this summer please let me know. I would love to attend with some fellow Oakland fans.

my sister lives in Portland, but I'm not sure how many games she gets to.
When I lived in Eugene (many moons ago), there was a group of us A’s fans that would go to Eugene Em’s games and pretend like we were at A’s games……ahhhh, the memories….

My wife and I.....
……are A’s fans who travel to Portland every summer. We live in Sacto and regularly go to the River Cats. Do you know when the Cats are going to play at PGE Park? We’ve always wanted to go, but the Beavers have never been in town when we are there.
Also, I’ve met plenty of A’s fans in the Pacific Northwest and it seems that many people up there like the A’s and Giants as well as the Mariners, especially older people who grew up liking the A’s and Giants as they were the closest teams once upon a time. And I’ve met many Mariners fans whose second favorite team is the A’s (and vice-versa!). We’re all on the upper part of the West Coast, so why fight?
Let me know when you are going to be town....
I enjoy Beaver games regardless of who is playing. IMO there is nothing better to do in Portland than go to a Beaver game on a beautiful Sunday afternoon or weekday evening. You can email if you like;

Thanks for the reply.
I was having a very similar thought the other day
I thought about writing a similar post looking for A’s fans in the Portland area. I’ve been here 25 years but have loved the A’s since ‘71. Getting info on this blog is something I regularly do, and I’m always looking for hope for the coming season. I also go to Beaver games during the summer, and I’ve really liked watching the River Cats play. I’m up for a game this summer and hope to get to Oakland for one as well.

Plenty of A's fans in Vancouver Canada
Like me. All those A’s draftees playing for the Vancouver Canadians kind of makes it a given that there’d be A’s fans up north.
If the planets align, I’d be down for a Portland road trip, but may I recommend one back this way to see the A’s of the future post-June.
If you see Mark Coleman in person, drop $5 on the floor and watch the fun as he tries in vain to bend down and pick it up.
