very interesting stuff

Things I didn’t expect to see:
- Pennington will be competing with Baisley and Hannahan to be the backup 3B
- Doolittle could be up on the MLB roster by the end of the year, and getting actual playing time
- Chavvy will not be playing full-time at the start of the season (that’s my fair interpretation of Forst’s insistence, twice in the same paragraph—and again in a later answer—that Chavvy will need scheduled time off; my unfair interpretation is that Chavvy is nowhere near as healthy as the FO has been claiming/implying the last 2 months)

minor biological correction

I doubt Fautino de los Santos is capable of “having” quadruplets, twins, or any other number of babies… ;-) anyway, that’s quite an armful for him and his wife!

Also, I don’t know whether it’s accurate to say that Daric Barton had two full seasons at AAA before being called up, since he was injured for a great part of the first season…but anyway, his point is well taken.
