.500 I think not!

I'm not sure if someone already posted this link.

After last night's win over Texas, I started to have a glimmer of hope that our A's could finish at a .500 record, but the powers that be decided otherwise as the A's will not be making up their game against Baltimore. It makes perfect sense to cancel the game, but how sweet would it have been to finish the year at .500.

This is kind of like a questionable call

by a scorekeeper who rules a hit on a play in the second inning, thus “breaking up” a no-hitter. And then the pitcher gives up six clean hits throughout the game.

I have this strange feeling that the A’s would have rendered the point moot, even if we were to make up that game in Baltimore. Not that I don’t have faith in our boys.

It’s only Tuesday. Why am I so tired?

Because you stayed up late last night?

Perhaps you were contemplating a slightly unseemly game thread?

He was playing hard to get.

But you just knew that sooner or later he would get sucked in. Couple of sheep brays…..and there he was.

After counting sheep, I hope?

I counted 14 and I didn’t even check the closet.

I like Cindi. A. She never pretends to know more than she does. B. She has unbridled enthusiasm for her "Hotties," and isn't afraid to show it. -IM4Oakgal
