SoCal AN Day?
For the record, baseballgirl nominated me to put this up...thanks BBG!
Basically, we wanted to gauge interest in hosting a mini AN day in SoCal. Anyone and everyone is welcome, even if you don't live in the area, but it will be located in SoCal. (funny how that works)
Not sure when this glorious event would occur...but soon. We're running out of time.
Anyway, take the poll, leave a comment, and we'll see what happens...stay tuned for updates.
Poll Note: Please only vote if you intend to come. We'd like to get a rough number of attendees as that would have an impact on if we do this and what type of venue would be appropriate. Thanks!

Duly rec'd
I’m voting because I’m considering coming…due to significant arm twisting.

If that doesn't work, I'll twist a leg.

Pamtics alome are worth the price of admission; everything else is gravy.
Just invite one Jack Daniel to accompany her.

Pamtics...that's new.
Somehow I have a way worse reputation here on AN than I actually do in real life.

Maybe I shouldn't be playing in your sandbox. ;-)

to see stockton play?
that could be more entertaining than the current A’s.

Notice I said "baseball game" with no team mentioned.
I left it wide open for discussion. :-)

Oh.
I vote for the Monday game of the A’s-Angels series!!! Come on!

You don't want to see Manny and the Dodgers?
Or the Jet Hawks? ;-)

Actually, those options would probably be better than watching the A's
get demolished.

I would as well,
but that’s kind of the first day of school, and I don’t have a way to get from LA to Anaheim.

hmmm.
they don’t play at Lake Elsinore or Rancho Cucamonga again this season… fine I’d be willing to see the big-league team…

I'd love to be there
but realistically I’m kind of a long shot. And I’d be cool with any of the options above.

I'd love to be there
but that’s the first week of the semester, so I doubt I could get away from work…..oh well, maybe next year the scheduling gods will smile on us and give us some weekend games down there…

Don't count it out yet!
I’m not sure if we are doing this during the A’s/Angels series. I’d rather do something on a weekend so we get better attendance. (and we can consume larger amounts of alcohol if desired. Although I know a lot people on this site don’t reserve their drinking to weekends! As evidenced by the game threads!)

Well
if it’s in the next 10 days i’m in.

I'm in
But sadly, I won’t be in SoCal (San Diego) until after the Anaheim series. If there is a bar or house viewing of a game in September or October, I’m in, though.

How about a mini-AN weekend in Seattle?
Sept 26-28?

I would
be there as well. I live here and could probably get my wife to come as well, even though we intermarried (she’s an Angels fan). But despite her drastic flaw in baseball team allegiance, she’d have a good time, I’m sure.

Socal AN Day and it was a blast! Missed last years, so I am in this year for sure.
