I think having the linescores is a good addition
Looks like the pitching lines only have the abbreviations the first time, though.

Cunningham on a mission...
I don’t think you could have put it any better and I’m so excited about this guy for next year, the outfield is going to be so packed next year it is really going to be interesting how everything unfolds. My initial thoughts were CGon, sweeney, and Cunningham, but who knows if buck gets healthy and then theres a few others also in the mix. It’s definitely a deep position.
Here's how I hope it breaks down...
1B – Huff? Burrell?
2B – Patterson
LF – Sweeney
CF – CarGon
RF – Buck/Cunningham
DH – Huff? Burrell? Cust?

Right...
but we know that Baltimore doesn’t want him anymore. Especially if they get TexMex.

Tex wants a 10 year deal
Mets will have an opening, maybe the Yankees as well. If Tex wants to win, Baltimore may not be attractive enough.
’Course, Angelos might be willing to pay top dollar.

For the sake of this conversation...
I’ll just say that I hope someone else is playing 1B next year. Barton clearly needs more time in the minors.

I was all ready to make an arguement for pursuing Tex
But 10 years?
Makes me blink.

Patterson...
would be a good fit I think at second base for next year and I pretty much agree with your outfield. I’ll just forget you mentioned huff and burrell and stick to barton at first base and I think it is pretty much a guarantee that next year Cust’s outfield days are done, at least I hope. We’ll probably see him at the DH and that is so much better than him playing out there in the outfield, did I mention he was a terrible outfielder.
Doolittle
.385 over his last 10 games. Each time I look at his profile on milb.com I’m hoping to see an improvement in his strikeouts. 139 for the season.
If we call up Doolittle (whenever he's ready), Cust is here, and we sign Dunn
I pledge to sit in the bleachers with one of those strikeout counters for our three sluggers.
“Stri-c-c-c-kout”
Not only would I get to make the strickout joke mainstream, we’d score a whole lot of runs.

Minor A's info
You are providing a great service, asyouwish33. I get to quite a lot of Ports and Rivercats games, and appreciate your research and comments.
Good addition
Keep up the good work asyouwish33. Keep up the good work. Extra column at end on pitchers must be hr surrendered.
If you keep this up, I will have to move A’s Nation up another slot on my baseball favorites. It is pretty well up near the top already.
Charlie Brown GO A'S WIN
Did I miss this?
Great post, but I have to ask how I missed that there is a pitcher in the A’s system named Juston Street? That’s only one letter difference, and if he’s Hispanic, it’s even pronounced the same way…
OK, Huston's younger brother...
… I guess it wouldn’t be pronounced the same. That would just be too confusing.
Justin was an undrafted free agent that just appeared on Phoenix roster
about 3 weeks to a month after the draft. He was redshirted this past year in college so is not on the fast track to anywhere… We will just have to watch and see what he is made of…

From a BA Chat
Nathaniel (VA): What do you make of Rashun Dixon and Nino Leyja’s debuts in the AZL? Both are 17-year-old mid-to-late-rounders who’ve been tearing it up and play up-the-middle-positions. Is this small-sample stuff or are they both legit prospects?
Kevin Goldstein: I love Dixon — absolute toolshed. I was think the other day if I could find a way to get him into Oakland’s top 11, but that system is too loaded.

Too bad WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE
And the A’s are the new royals.
Prospects, after all, are irrelevant

James Simmons on BA's Hot Sheet
Why he’s here: 2-0, 0.63, 14 1/3 IP, 10 H, 1 R, 0 HR, 5 BB, 15 SO
The Scoop: Overcoming sleep apnea has turned Simmons’ season around. After scuffling through the first half, the 6-foot-3 righty has been almost untouchable in July and August, going 7-2, 2.53 through 10 starts, with 63 strikeouts and 12 walks in 68 innings. And he’s pitched for a Midland team that has lost much of its prospect core either to promotions (Aaron Cunningham, Vin Mazzaro) or to Team USA (Trevor Cahill, Brett Anderson). While Simmons doesn’t have one knockout pitch, he commands four pitches for strikes and doesn’t hurt himself with home runs or walks (his five walks on the week constitute nearly 18 percent of his season total).

The score and pitching lines are a great addition.
Tough day of play but great work and if you can keep them comming.
