Biggest Coups, First 10 Rounds
2. Brett Hunter, rhp, Athletics (seventh round, $1.1 million, No. 51 on BA Top 200)
Elbow problems kept him from being a possible top-10 pick, but he's a steal if healthy.
Biggest Coups, Rounds 11-50
4. Dusty Coleman, ss, Athletics (28th round, $675,000, No. 185th on BA Top 200)
An all-star season in the Cape Cod League earned him second-round money.

Excellent
This would be a great feature I would read every day. Thank you and keep up the good work.

The "Minor Lines" on McCovey Chronicles have been a great 'feature' there.
I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing something similar here because I like to follow the boxscores for our minor leaguers, but while I’d usually have more than enough time for it the devotion and motivation to keep doing it wasn’t something I was sure I’d have. So, I’m glad someone else is covering it!
At least this season we’ll have a taste of it for the last couple weeks, but it should be nice to follow daily come 2009.

Cats...
great job but I thought I’d mention Denorfia who is currently on a pretty decent tear with the River Cats with 8 straight multi-hit games, over this eight game span he has 18 hits and is batting .474 hopefully he’s finally healthy.

Well done
I know that it can be a lot of work but adding the scores and maybe a sentence summary about the games would go great with the info already provided. Even without that I would read these posts every time as well. Not critizing or demanding btw just respectfully requesting, if its possible.

We'll add the links to the scores...
I’m happy to see Javier Herrera is starting to heat up. I’m still praying that he will make a debut…just a debut. I think he could have a promising career. Still hoping!

Doolittle
I’m glad to see Doolittle start to put some good games together.
Hopefully Doolittle and Brown can figure out their levels and together with Carter can power the A’s offense for the next 6 years.
Sometimes life will strike you out on a curve ball and the only choice you have is to flip off the umpire and walk to first base anyway.

power is when you run out your walk instead of jogging it
Or at least that’s how i remember it.

Corey Brown
Quietly is having a solid year. He still Ks too much but hes got 27 HRs and has an OPS of 855. He will be 23 in November, so hes not young and should be in AA next year.

does anyone know a place where minor league box scores are released in a
good format? If they were available in spreadsheet or CSV form, I could probably write a quick fanpost with just the lines pretty often.

Not sure about a good format. I just look at MILB.com
