Around SBN: Steve McNair Dead - Former NFL QB Shot and Killed

Open Thread: Game 126 - A's at Minnesota (cont)

Let's get some new thread mojo! Braden pitching pretty well; he has only given up 2 runs. Of course, the A's offense has only managed to score one, but that could change. Right? Right?

Not a single hit off any of the relievers

and that goes for both teams!

My friends at work

Told me I was being ridiculous when I saw the score was 3-1 and went “eh, well this is pretty much over.”

I mean I probably was being ridiculous, in all fairness. But the A’s offense sure does stink.

RagingHarden: Yeah if you get 20 starts out of me I'll be shocked. Like, I'll wreck my drawers.

Well, that was ugly.

Rinse and repeat.

Bring back Hammer.

Can we just release Brown and Thomas already?

I know that, as Beane said earlier, “we aren’t fielding an instructional team”. But I rather see an instructional league team than see these deadends continue to take at bats away from Johnny Whoever in Triple/Double A.

I am Ray Fosse's infatuations with Clay Wood and high-definition television.

I stepped away for nine innings

did we win?

I'm here to talk about the past.

Of course!

I can already smell that championship!

Recap up...

No I’m not kidding. It’s easy. I found the AN file marked “generic_as_loss_after_all_star_break”

So, bring on Bonds! Or, not... then, bring back Langerhans!! -One won lost one

It's almost annoying when the A's score because

it just keeps the garbage on the team longer.

Better to 100 percent fail and look bad doing it. It should bring better results in the long term.

We all want this team to be good. We are diehard A’s fans but right now, I an not opposed to seeing Hannahan and Crosby (As example) fail every single at bat they can

I hate unproductive outs and the A's are producing them at record production

It was an unearned run.

Pretty much 100% fail.

I would like Gio Gonzalez

to win every game he starts and of course Suzuki, Cargon, all rookies and the future succeed.
