Street threw one two-seam fastball

that had terrific movement back over the inside corner. If he can throw that pitch, he can live at 90MPH just fine. 93MPH is ok too. :-)

Kudos to Bob Geren tonight

Because he managed the 9th inning perfectly. And I’m not just saying that because it worked. In an IM conversation I said how DFA for Miley was a good move, pinch running for DFA was something you had to do (then he did it). Barton bunting was the right call, and while I wish Suzuki could get a day off once in a while, one at bat isn’t going to hurt matters any.

He made the right call in every situation and they all worked. Good for him.

AN is equipped with an alarm system to wake mods up whenever Cust strikes out — we figured that should have been enough to keep us on our toes to post 1-2 extra game threads plus the game wrap every day.
