the prodigal son returns...sort of

Hello old friends, just wanted to let everyone know I am well. So many things going on right now…

I launched a new A’s site

A little low-key (like me), "Always A's" is just something to- hopefully- get my book in the public’s eye. Now I just need to find the time to keep it current.

As for my old posts on AN, well I have this bad habit of cleaning things out every now and then. For a guy who eats, drinks, and sleeps nostalgia, one thing that I am not particularly sentimental about is my own writing. Color me weird. I will think twice next time.

I have started my own company

Me and two co-workers have branched out on our own to forge a union modular installation company. For those unfamiliar with the term modular, think "cubicle". Our warehouse may not be available to us until August 1, but we are in business right now.

Dealing with tragedy

My ex-wife lost her husband to a work-related accident last month. He was 37. My son is having a hard time dealing with it, more for his mom and five-year old sister, who is suddenly without a father.

Still finding time for the A’s – barely

The last game I went to was the 1-0 loss to San Francisco, where I got into a shouting match with a gloating 12-year old (or so) Giants fan in the parking lot. (Hey, he started it!)

Someone please remind me to grow up.

Hope all is well, AN.
