Varitek. LOL. That's really about all that can be said.
The ASG is a complete sham.
Somebody mentioned it during one of the game threads today, but the fact that a popularity contest exhibition game actually has any sort of significance when it comes to THE WORLD SERIES is just flat out stupid.
Billy is the Mets' only representative - they had to pick SOMEone
As a Mets fan – Billy has been lights-out most of the season, great stats, strung together 9 straight innings of no-hit ball at one point. He HAS had a few blown saves lately and, of course, that’s what makes news. Can’t really judge him by what plays make it onto SportsCenter.
As much as I love DWright, he hasn't had a very good year
Only started heating up since Manuel sat him a few weeks ago… he is up for the fan vote for 32nd member, though. Can’t say I understand why it wasn’t Santana; maybe too many good candidates for SP?
Reyes would be better than Tejada...
