We actually gained on the Red Sox this week in the Wild card Race.

For those who are always thinking about the future the team signed a big time prospect.

YES, the hitting is horrid, our bull-pen was lousy lately, we lost Chavez and have many other key guys hurt - but I think its insane for people to just give up. Especially, the people who post that they are no longer fans.

I still think with a trade or two the team can improve and still be in the race. I am not saying trade all the young prospects for a star, I think a few minor trades with teams that can use some pitchers and we can greatly improve the offense (especially when Thomas and Sweeney get back- neither of who I would think will be traded for prospects).

Even if the team falls out of contention there are many great storylines to follow. KEEP THE FAITH!!
