Open Game Thread - Game 103: A's vs. Rangers (cont.)
A's trail 6-2 going to the bottom of the 5th. Duke got knocked around a bit in the 2nd, recovered nicely -- then gave up a monstrous 3R HR to Hamilton. The Rangers' rookie starter has been verrrrrrry shaky with his command -- but the A's, as usual in such circumstances, haven't done a whole lot against him beside walk.

Amazing he leads team in RBI's
shows how much the others suck.
I think it shows that RBI is a nigh-meaningless stat

Josh Hamilton does far, far, far more than merely accumulate RBIs
What’s more, as is always the case with high RBI counts, he’s had a ton of men on base in front of him.
Who needs competence as long as everyone smiles? @('.')@
The Rangers
for as long as I can remember, have always been like that.

There are a lot of things Josh Hamilton and I don't agree with
Chiefly, the “cool” factor of tribal tattoos.
Ryan Sweeney: I probably irrationally embraced him before you did.
He's publicly admitted to not liking his tattoos.
So, you like them? :)
Mark Ellis: sent down from Heaven to rob Evil of hits and hand out rainbows
I think it bears exploring
if he got those before or after he got sober.

Oh, yeah, I was just half-kidding
I think tribal tattoos are a little passe, but I wouldn’t judge someone based purely on that. Well, maybe I would:
