Okay, so there's no actual contest ... but I need some help on A's knowledge. I'm planning a future Staturday column assessing BB's overall success or failure in trading. I still need some information on PTBNLs and cash that completed trades.
Questions:
How much cash did we get for Kevin Melillo?
How much cash did we send to Atlanta with Kotsay? $5.3m
How much cash did we send to Chicago with Kendall? $6m
Who was the PTBNL we sent to Washington for Jermaine Van Buren?
How much cash did we get for Adam Melhuse?
Who was the PTBNL we sent to San Diego for Jack Cust? Cash, $100k

PTBNL (along w McBeth) for Denorfia? Ben Jukich
PTBNL on each side for Saarloos? Denham/Manon

They didn't actually give us money.
Cashman just sent along his son’s ‘96 Nissan Sentra. It had power windows, power brakes….the radio was factory, but it had a single CD…it was time to buy Brian Jr. a new car…

but can you also assess his FA signings and non-signings? Jermaine Dye and Chavez stick out as sore thumbs (or bums).

How much cash did we send to Atlanta with Kotsay? $5.3M of his $7.3M remaining
How much cash did we send to Chicago with Kendall? I think this is right… PIT was sending us $5M of his $13M, and we sent another $6M to Chicago, saving a cool million in payroll.
Who was the PTBNL we sent to San Diego for Jack Cust? He was aquired for cash only, no players involved.
PTBNL for Langerhans? I think this was a PTBNL OR Cash. Must have been cash.
PTBNL (along w McBeth) for Denorfia? Jukich

As far as I know, the cash considerations are not public.
If the deal is to pay part of a player’s salary, then it has to be announced. Otherwise it doesn’t. Therefore, most cash considerations are never revealed, and the ones that do get out usually are big ones and/or it’s hearsay information that may not be reliable.
