Watch the MLB GameDay video (mid right of screen) of Emil Brown’s home run. Two things:
The Mariner’s catcher jumps up in anguish, looks away, as Brown hits it. He knew it was gone. Classic.
As Brown reaches home plate, the A’s public address system turns on Ken Korach’s call of the Brown Home Run. So you folks back East, you can hear Ken call it, if you listen carefully and tune out the sad Mariners broadcasters..
