What to do with an over-abundance of AAAA players
So we have a team full of AAAA players, they are good for a short stint, once the league figure out who they are, and adjust to them, our guy fizzles out.
Is there a better way to get production out of our AAAA players? how about making truely AAAA players? Start a MLB <-> AAA rotation program. Shuttle players back and forth once every 1-2 months to keep them off the opponets's scouts' radar. Make them all leagally change their names to "Joe Average", grow some monster facial hair, so the opponents can't tell which is up each time. We are looking for out of the box thinking here.
BTW, how about that Joe I-have-as-many-losses-as-Zito Blanton? One thing I learned, you better have the liqure cabinet stocked if he's pitching. Either win or loss, you are gonna want to have a drink, before, during (especailly innings 4-6 in many cases), and after the game.

I knew Blanton was bad.
I hadn’t realized he has as many losses as Zito though. Jeeze, that really puts into perspective how awful he has been.
What about Barry?
"Barry who?" Forst said, and I felt like I was in the middle of a knock-knock joke.

Or it would if losses were any kind of indication of performance
Fortunately, they’re not.

So I suppose...
the 4.96 ERA is no indication of performance either.

Well, it's better than Losses.
Justin Duchscherer is 10-5. Hasn’t he pitched better than that? Hasn’t Rich Harden pitched better than 5-1? John Danks better than 6-4?
You do know that while improbable, it’s theoretically possible for a pitcher to start 35 games, throw 9 innings each game, give up 1 ER each game, and go 0-35, right? Wins and losses don’t tell you a whole lot.

Joe has as many losses on a better team no less
that’s is the more troubling part. We’ve shafted Greg Smith as far as run support, but Joe has been getting some runs.

What to do with the over abundance of redundant, and rediculous fanposts

quick recap
A’s trade SP R Harden and SP/RP C Gaudin to the Cubs for “promising” right-hander Sean Gallagher, outfielders Matt Murton and IF/OF Eric Patterson and minor leaguer C/3B Josh Donaldson.
Some thought it was good some thought it was bad and some are on the fence about it. Only time will tell if the trade was horrible or excellent and if either side won. But Gallagher will start Friday against the Halos.
As for all the fanpots enter them at your own discretion. You were warned.

make that redundant, ridiculous, AAAA fanposts
... arousing men to burst the chains under which monkeyish ignorance and superstition had persuaded them to bind themselves ... @('.')@

Maybe Beane has developed an interest
in owning a Japanese league team and plans to have all the AAAA players star there.
I like Cindi. A. She never pretends to know more than she does. B. She has unbridled enthusiasm for her "Hotties," and isn't afraid to show it. -IM4Oakgal

I would agree with your AAAA assessment
last year. Your assertion that we are reliant upon guys who quickly fizzle out is far from the truth. In future posts, it would be nice for you to provide evidence supported by statistics to back your claims.
Sure, I see some of that same ‘AAAA’ talent you were referring to. However, it has not been a key factor in the success of the A’s this year. Guys like Eveland, Smith, Suzuki, and Ryan Sweeney have stuck with the big club the entire season and have continued to perform quite well, becoming key components of success.
More appropriately labeled ‘AAAA’ talent, including the likes of Denorfia, Murphy, and Braden have not made the same long-term contributions because they have not perfomed at an adequate long-term level. Remember, there is a reason why they are stuck between talent levels so to speak, and why the A’s did not perform as well last year.

I think you took my post too seriously
see my second paragraph. It’s meant as a rant.

Fair enough
I senses the clear sarcasm, just wasn’t sure overall how serious you were
