Angels totally have the pitching talent

to punish our offense

If we take pitches, they locate well enough for 1st pitch strikes and get Ks without getting deep into counts.
If we swing at 1st pitches, we tend to get into fast outs, keeping their pitch count low.

Overall, a bad combination for us.
