Because he is not a rookie or 'future star'
Some fans on here believe that the new veterans to the team (Brown, Foulke, M. Sweeney) are taking away jobs of “young studs” and thus are unpopular.
But Foulke and Sweeney aren't bad at baseball.

not as much though.
I guarantee you that if when Devine comes back and the team decide to keep Foulke over some younger pitcher there will be complaints.

I don't consider him a starter
I think that he is on the bench completely once Thomas comes back (Sweeney, Cust, Gonz.= OF/ Thomas -DH).
I think that Brown is pretty much a reserve role right now.
Then again until Thomas returns he is our best option.
Scoot was a backup middle infielder!
He was an excellent 2B and an okay SS. Emil Brown, at least from what I’ve seen, is a crappy corner outfielder.
So he’s a crappy corner outfielder who hits like a backup middle infielder, and we’re supposed to like him?

KEEP IT UP!!!
I know it sucks that the Angels keep winning but this team needs to go out there and keep winning!!
With the great starting pitching we can catch them or have another fun/ positive winning season nonetheless.
