A major theme of this blog is the emerging star in his infancy with the ballclub, and that is Carlos Gonzalez."
This guy has got the future makings of being better than a Carlos Beltran....Haren was good, but I think this guy is gonna be better...

Dude...
For any true fan of the A’s, which I will be counted, these photos are awesome! I particularly enjoyed the one of Beane and Custy. Nice to see one of baseballs most brilliant gets dressed up for the office :)

Philadelphia Athletics Historical Society
Hey gang.
I’m visiting my brother in the Philly area, and today we headed to Hatboro to the Philadelphia A’s Historical Society. GREAT STUFF! Lots of vintage A’s stuff (uniforms, caps, autographed balls, etc. – I even got to sit in a Shibe Park box seat). I could’ve spent all day there. I know others have linked to their site before , but I’m going to do it again.
The folks at the Museum were extremely nice. After my purchase (vintage A’s cap, several books on Philly A’s, Shibe Park photograph), the clerk, who was an A’s fan before any of us were born, gave us tons of free stuff. He was delighted to have an A’s fan from Oakland come to visit. Really nice guy.
I highly recommend both their web site: http://www.philadelphiaathletics.org/
and the Museum.
