PrintSo I'm hanging out at this bar in Boston on Saturday night, just kicking it with a friend and having a beer. There's these two pretty wasted older guys in Hawaiian shirts next to us and they're talking about the Celtics to this younger bearded dude in his twenties across from us who also seems pretty wrecked. All of a sudden the younger guy notices that I'm rocking an A's ballcap and he points at my face and he's all, "Hey! You like the A's?"
Me: "Yeah."
He: "You like Jack Cust?"
Me: "Yeah, he's pretty dope."
He: "I went to high school with that guy. He's insane! We went to high school together in New Jersey, man. You know what he did when he got his million-dollar signing bonus with the Diamondbacks after we got out of school? He bought a GUN! And a LEXUS! Yeeeaaah, mannn, that's what they do out there in Arizona. Everyone brings guns out to the desert and they shoot holes in all the road signs...Jack Cust is out there shooting road signs all night, man!"
Me: "This is the awesomest random bar conversation...um, ever? Seriously, what are the odds?"

It was a Lexus Gun
Kind of like cross between a Transformer and the Bat Mobile.
Except its painted light brown.

the guy was pretty nondescript; for all I know he was talking out of his ass. I would have liked to continue the conversation but he got up pretty quick after that to go try and talk to some girls…
Is it just me?
Or is it actually more funny that a guy with a Norm image is telling a story from a Boston bar.
