A's Authentic Road Jersey???

I've been trying to find an Authentic Road jersey for a couple days now, but the only size available anywhere is 60. I don't get it, do they not make the gray "Oakland" jerseys anymore? The Majestic site supposedly has them, but according to the lady on the phone they don't ship for 10 days, even with 2nd day shipping. I'd like to have it for next weekend's series in ATL, any ideas where I can find a size 40 one of these things???

I googled for

(gray,grey) road oakland jersey

and got 89000 hits. Of the three shopping ones up top, one had them in stock (they said). There were also some buy it now’s on eBay

I didn’t see any of those buy it nows for an authentic gray size 40. I guess I should’ve also mentioned I want it to be a blank one, with no player’s name. Could you post the link to one of the jerseys you saw?

Like I said the only size available everywhere is 60. MLB.com is the first place I looked. Thanks for the help though.

Those size availability are very often wrong..

call them and you can get up to date info on what they have.

use quotes when using Google

take it from an old database guy, who constructed searches long before Sergey and company even went to college….

Also the order of your search has a big effect on the results. Getting 89,000 hits means you didn’t use quotes, and the order of search was wrong.

I tried “baseball jersey” road “Oakland athletics” and only got 11,000+ hits. And this adv. on the side of Google yielded several sizes of road grey>

I hate buying from eBay anymore

Invariably, it’s $30 to ship something….even a $12 item.

I’ve often sent stuff back to the sender via Fedex Ground (2-day) and it has cost me one-fifth of what I was charged for “shipping” costs.

You go to your local Target, and buy some socks…do they say, “Well, it costs $7.50 minimum to ship these socks to this store…plus we had to “handle it” in order to take it from the shipping box, and put it on the shelf..”???

No, they don’t. I’m sick of the shipping racket (as you can see!!). It’s like the days when auto dealers put a fee on the contract for “EDP”. No one wanted to appear ignorant, and ask, “What’s EDP?” It was a joke on the customer… it stood for “Extra Dealer Profit”..
