Around SBN: Hugh Douglas Admits To Stealing From Jaguars

Your man on the scene

"Is this Heaven?" "No, it’s the BART lot."

Midweek Day Game: seductive gateway drug. The first one’s $2. Next thing you know it you’re unshaven, unemployed, and drinking beers at 11 AM.

It’s sooooooooo good.

Sadly, I am fully employed. And partially shaven. Despite these obstacles, I will soon be savoring a gourmet brunch of burrito and Suds-Over-Asphalt, after which I'll repair to my choice of sun-kissed Coliseum seats.

Scratch a fan alone at a ballgame and you’ll find a geek. And maybe tetanus. No geek-denier me, I’ll wear it today, and if fickle technology and fickle'r motivation allow I’ll bust out the laptop and keep you posted in this thread. If it works I'll post again before first pitch.

This is gonna kill my chances with the ladies.

Where are you upgrading to today?

I’ll be in 216. In a prescient move last winter (while I was still miserably gainfully employed), I added a little weekday package to my account. :)

I have [null set] to say.

I am there

I have the day game package. 118.
Being at work vs. Being at an A’s game? A no brainer.
Sadly the $8 Big Corona is now $11, so I may imbibe in the car, and just have 1.
Let’s Go Oakland.

Enjoy the game

Great, now I'll have the Black Crowes stuck in my head all day.

There’s a branch of control systems theory I never learned and probably won’t ever learn, but it was all worth it to skip class and go to this game.

Totally worth it.

Sun for the most part

in the first 5-10 rows of the 200 level, depending on which side you’re on vis a vis the sun.

Speaking of sun, I realized after I got home that while squinting at my laptop screen in the bright sun in the middle innings I missed some questions posted by you and andeux. No snub intended. Shade works better for laptop posting, if not as well for sun worship.
