The ballpark is at NW 20th and Burnside. NW 23rd is a very attractive commercial strip, although a bit too yuppified for my taste.

On a night when Haren gets rocked by the Giants at home to see his era go way higher than either Smith or Eveland, in the NL West, pitching to pitchers, I’m getting really tempted to jump to some too early conclusions. I’ll instead just say: Nice trade William.

As for pitching, I’ve heard Smith isn’t overpowering but relies on control and moxie (i hope moxie is allowed to describe an A’s player here, as I’m new.)
