I was at the game last night and he looks very close to being ready for a return to the major league roster. He fielded the ball really well last night, made a nice diving stop at third and seemed to be pretty mobile. He also smoked the ball twice last night.

Side note:

It's a pity Linden never got a chance to play in Oakland because from the couple of times I have seen him play in Sacramento, he is absolutely hitting the cover off the ball.

Melillo also looked real good. He barely missed a couple of homeruns last night.

Ziegler with his 3 strikeouts and another save coupled with his .44 ERA wasn't too shabby either.
