Street has always been this good, and the reminder of that emphasizes how bad he’s looked in 1/3 of his appearances this year, and dominating 2/3 of the time and “no stuff” the other third is no good.

That was the DH spot,
and he couldn’t ph anywhere else without royally screwing up the defense. Plus, Bowen is the worst hitter out there outside of Suzuki, so he’s the one it makes sense to ph for.

I do agree - one thing I've liked about Geren
is that he’s willing to worry about now instead of hypotheticals later. But to me, this was a waste of M. Sweeney anyway. I’d rather just hope Bowen gets into one and still have Sweeney available.

Bunting is hard. I can excuse pretty much everyone on the team for sucking at it, because they’re here to hit. But if you are not a good hitter and you’re very fast, you should practice bunting 24 hours a day every day. I can’t believe Rajai is so bad at it.
