Baek would have come in in the first inning with men on base and a 6-0 deficit. Batista didn’t have anything at all. The only out he earned was against Ellis. The rest we gave away.

I agree, but it is tough for someone to focus on a new positon and have to face superior pitching in AA.

H-Rod is on the 40 man. Maybe they were hoping he would continue to deal so they could call him up to the bigs at roster expansion time.
