Great article on Nomo's career
Here's a fine, well-written article on Nomo's career, by Sam Mellinger for the Kansas City Star.
I remember I used to dislike Nomo because he played for the Dodgers, but that was a while ago, and now what I see is someone who always had a lot of guts, and who opened a lot of doors for other players.

I’ve always liked Nomo. I remember I was doing homework and my mom said “COME HERE AND LOOK AT THIS PITCHER!”
I think it was his debut against the Giants and I ran to the TV and watched in amazement as his splitter absolutely made every batter look foolish. I also was amazed at his windup. It was the craziest thing I’d ever seen on a baseball field…
