Open Game Thread: Game 20 - A's vs. Royals (cont.)
A's go to the 7th leading the Royals 7-1, thanks to one a couple of multiple good rallies, knocking Jeff Weaver Snake Hochevar Canyon out of the game in the 5th. Some outstanding pitching today by Evel Knieveland, but Geren used a relatively quick hook in the 6th when Evel put a couple Royals on.

I actually ran into Pruess at the airport
and he told me I could win like $5000 at various tournaments, but I haven’t really looked into it.

Also
I’m sure there are plenty of ringers similar to me in a tournament like that.
The A's colors are green and gold.
500 pts ringers are rare
I talked about it with Pruess—We agree even with ringers you are close to 100% to cash…its just a matter of how you do vs. the other ringers late in the tourney. Most of the time you won’t be facing them.
I choked big time at the end of the TNM

If Milton sticks around the league long enough, eventually every middle reliever will have been involved in trade discussions about him.

Walk!!
Reporters are actually starting to talk about how Bobby could be turning it around. I wish they wouldn’t as its probably bad luck. Just let him have success in silence and maybe he will stay healthy.
the only reason he's playing well is
so he can get our hopes up before he gets injured again.
Have faith....
after all, next year is his last under contract, so if he has a good year, Billy may trade him.

Wow I thought we delt Kendall.....
Bowen has only got 2 starts this season? Looks like good controll of the staff is not the only thing Zukes took from Kendall. He also want to play every day. Bowen is a good team player, but so was Melhuse, and he eventually tired of the sparse playing time.
I've a feeling Bowen will play more when there are fewer off days.
