There used to be a rating system on old, old AN.
It was clunky and no one really used it. We sort of have one now – Click on ACTIONS and you can rec or flag a comment.
Anyway, +1, -whatever doesn’t really mean anything. We just like to use instead of real ratings. It’s fun.

I can’t believe the Royals don’t have 1 pticher in the minors better than him. I can’t believe there’s no journeyman reliever out there without a job who is better.
Why is Hideo Nomo still pitching? He hasn’t been above replacement for FIVE YEARS.

He had an OPS+ of 90 coming into tonight. Even with a monster night, he can’t be even average yet. Have our expectations sunk so low that we now think a healthy, not-completely-useless Crosby is a great thing?
